Eyeroc Media (“we”, “us”) operates Sudeeo at Sudeeo.com, along with any mobile app we publish (together, the “Service”). It’s a tool for planning film and video productions. This policy explains what information the Service collects, how it’s used, and the choices you have.
The short version
- Your scripts and projects are yours. We use them to run the Service, not to advertise to you.
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- People you invite see only what their role allows, and that’s enforced in our database, not just the interface.
- AI features send the text you submit to an AI provider. They’re optional, and nothing is sent unless you use them.
- You can delete projects any time. To delete your account, contact us.
1. What we collect
Account information
Your email address, your name, and a password. Your password is hashed by our authentication provider, so we never see it in plain text. If you join a production through an invitation, we also ask for your phone number and whether you’re cast or crew. Production owners can add optional details such as a company name.
Content you create and upload
Everything you enter or upload: scripts, story structure, scenes, shots, storyboard panels, schedules, call sheets, notes, mood boards, and the images and files you attach, such as posters, frames, reference images, and logos.
Information about other people
Call sheets and team rosters include names, roles, phone numbers, and email addresses of cast and crew. If you enter someone else’s information, you’re responsible for having their permission to do so.
Invitations
When you invite someone, we store their email address, the role you offered, and who invited them. An invitation that isn’t accepted expires after seven days.
Usage and device information
Basic analytics from our hosting platform: pages viewed, approximate location (country), browser and device type, and the site that referred you. This is aggregate information about how the Service is used, not a profile of you.
Messages to us
If you contact us, we keep your message and our reply so we can help you.
2. How we use it
- To run the Service: sign you in, save your projects, and apply the right role to each person.
- To send invitations and essential messages about your account, security, and sharing.
- To produce exports you ask for, such as PDFs.
- To run the AI features you choose to use (see section 3).
- To understand how the Service is used, find problems, and improve it.
- To answer support requests, keep the Service secure, enforce our terms, and meet legal obligations.
We don’t read your projects except as needed to operate, secure, or support the Service, or when the law requires it. We don’t use your content to advertise to you.
3. AI features
Some features, such as importing a film reference or organizing an imported script, use AI. When you use one, the text you submit (for example a film title, or scene headings and short excerpts from a script) is sent to an AI model provider through our AI service so it can produce the result. That provider handles it under its own terms.
These features are optional. If you don’t use them, nothing is sent. Please don’t submit anything you aren’t comfortable sharing with the provider. We may limit how often AI features can be used on an account.
4. Who can see your content
Your projects are private by default. Access works like this:
| Who | What they can see |
|---|---|
| You (owner) | Everything in your projects, and you control who else has access. |
| Collaborators | The story content of projects you invite them to, which they can also edit. |
| Crew and cast | The parts of a project their role allows, such as the call sheet and schedule. They can’t change the story. |
| Our providers | Only what they need to run the Service for us (section 5). |
These limits are enforced by rules inside our database, not only by what the interface shows. We can’t control what people you invite do with what they can see. A crew member who can view a call sheet can also download it.
5. Service providers
We rely on other companies to run the Service. They process information on our behalf and only to provide their service.
| Provider | What they do |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, sign-in, and file storage for your projects and uploads. |
| Lovable | Hosting and deployment, usage analytics, and the AI service behind the AI features. |
| Hostinger | Delivering invitation and account emails. |
8. Keeping and deleting information
We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete a project, its content and uploaded files are removed from the Service. To delete your account and your remaining personal information, contact us at studio1@eyerocmedia.com.
Copies may remain in backups for a limited time. We may keep information we’re legally required to keep, or need to resolve a dispute.
If you’re a member of someone else’s project, deleting your account ends your membership but doesn’t delete that owner’s project. Details an owner entered about you, such as your name on a call sheet, belong to their project. Contact the owner or us to have them removed.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information: encrypted connections, password hashing by our authentication provider, database rules that limit each person to the projects they belong to, and restricted access to our own systems. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private. If a breach affects you, we’ll notify you as the law requires.
10. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, download, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, including California, the European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data-protection authority.
To make a request, email studio1@eyerocmedia.com. We’ll respond within the time the law allows, and we won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights. Where the law requires a legal basis for processing, ours is providing the Service you asked for, our legitimate interest in keeping it secure and working, and your consent where we ask for it.
11. Children
The Service isn’t directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age in your country, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
12. Where data is processed
We operate from the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than where you live.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. For changes that matter, we’ll also email you or tell you in the app before they take effect.
